Orbis respects the privacy of the users of its site and will ensure that your personal information is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Statement of Confidentiality below sets out the principles governing how Orbis will use the information you provide. By registering to use Orbis Online Services you agree to this usage.

In order to receive Orbis Online Services, you must provide the required information on the registration form. During registration you are required to give your contact information (e-mail address and name). Orbis will store this contact information in order to send you the services you have requested, provide you with details of new services when these become available, and otherwise for the normal use and improvement of Orbis Online Services, unless you have specifically requested us not to do so. Orbis will not send you any unsolicited information except as mentioned above (e.g. to send you details of new and updated services).  You may receive the full range of services even if you do not provide the optional data requested on the registration form; however, we would appreciate it if you could provide this as it will help us to provide more effective services.

Information Use 

Orbis may use the personal information you provide us in order to aggregate user profiles and for the purposes of developing further Orbis services.

Cancellation of Online Services

At any time, you may cancel your subscription to Orbis Online Services. If you do so, you will not receive any further subscriber services, unless you choose to re-register with Orbis Online Services.

Site Monitoring

To enable us to monitor and improve the quality and features of our web site, we may gather certain information about you when you access Orbis Online Services, including details of your operating system, domain name and IP addresses. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Cookies are designed to personalise your Online interaction by storing information about your preferences on a particular site. The use of cookies is now an industry standard, and many web sites use them to enable faster access and the site to be tailored to your preferences.

Orbis does not use cookies that contain identifiable personal information. Orbis will only access the cookie in your cookie folder placed there through the process described above.

You can adjust your browser settings to disable cookies. However if you choose to do so you will not be able to access present and future Orbis Online Services.

Orbis takes reasonable precautions to protect the personal information you provide from misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

Notification of Changes If Orbis decides at any time to change this Statement of Confidentiality, notification of and a link to these changes will be posted to the Orbis Funds’ web site Home page.
